Vietnamese exporters may have lost as many as 36 containers of cashew nuts in Italy thanks to a scam, the Viet Nam Cashew Association (Vinacas) said at a press conference late Wednesday night.
Italy is currently Việt Nam''s fourth largest trading partner in the EU behind only the Netherlands, Germany and France while Việt Nam is Italy''s largest trading partner in ASEAN with bilateral trade turnover continuously increasing over the years.
The establishment of a strategic partnership between Italy and Viet Nam
has opened up opportunities for the two countries to accelerate
bilateral ties, especially in the trade and investment sectors.
A seminar on leather trends for the fashion, furniture and automotive
industry will be held on July 11 to promote trade between Italy and Viet
Nam in the leather industry.
